The following certificates are accepted:

  • Offshore Medical Certificate in accordance with Oil and Gas UK Medical Guidelines
  • Offshore Medical Certificate in accordance with Nederlandse Olie a Gas Exploratie one Producti Associati (NOGEPA) Guidance for Offshore Medical Examinations

This means that people who have health certificates from Oil and Gas UK or NOGEPA can travel offshore in Norway without a Norwegian health certificate. These people are still subject to all the provisions of the Norwegian regulations regarding health requirements. The responsible operating companies and service providers must apply the same control with these individuals in accordance with the existing practice and the provisions in the Norwegian regulations regarding health requirements.
